OUR STORY
50 years of Swing
Where it began
Friends Marie Irving and Jenny Swann opened Swing Gifts from a Victorian terrace in South Yarra, Melbourne. They began sourcing handmade products from around the world, soon catching the attention of leading department stores including Georges and Myer, as well as homewares and interiors stores across Melbourne.
Taking Swing to retail
Swing exhibited at the Melbourne August Reed Gift Fair for the first time. Their fresh approach to product selection made an impression, establishing the foundations of the Swing Gifts wholesale business.
The next generation
Marie’s son Andrew joined the family business, bringing his corporate banking experience and helping shape Swing’s growing focus on homewares.
Still family run
Today, Swing Gifts is a proudly Australian owned, family run wholesale business supplying retailers across Australia and New Zealand. With five showrooms nationally, a dedicated sales team and thousands of product lines, Swing continues to evolve while maintaining its focus on personal service, strong relationships and great product.
